Bookbinding Course Results

My 4th semester in university I spent at FH Potsdam in Germany for an exchange. This was a great experience since I got to choose all the courses myself. One of these courses was bookbinding. It was awesome to get my already gained skills on a more professional level and learn something new. We learned how to figure out the direction of paper, differences of the glues, how to make our own head band and of course some different bindings. Those books shown here are the ones that we did: three-hole pamphlet stitch, perfect binding, coptic stitch in a swiss brochure and case binding.
The final task for the course was to do a documentation about the things we did, but I decided to do more and make an actual book about bookbinding in which I want to include several more stitches to have my own little book of collected knowledge.
